About the Role
If you are passionate about ending sexual violence and enjoy public speaking or teaching, this role is for you
As a workshop facilitator with Talk Consent, you will deliver engaging and effective education on consent and sexual violence to secondary school students, with the aim of reducing rape and sexual assault.
We want our sessions to be open, engaging, and inclusive, so, alongside your co-facilitator, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering our content in a positive way that helps the students to relate to you.
- Creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere so that students feel comfortable discussing the content.
- Helping to gather feedback after the sessions, to measure the efficacy of the workshops and find ways to continuously improve.
Important Details
Pay: £20 per hour & all travel expenses paid.
Location: Various locations at school sites (facilitators would only travel locally to them).
Hours: Flexible - between 5 - 15 hours per week
As a speaker for Talk Consent, we will aim to provide you with engagements that suit you, and that work around your availability.
Start Date: Immediate
**About You**
Our facilitators are the embodiment of Talk Consent; the organisation is built upon our sessions and so as a workshop facilitator you are the face of the organisation in schools, and you are a key driver in the growth of Talk Consent.

We will provide training on the content and delivery of sessions but, we are looking for people who can demonstrate an ability to engage an audience in the topics of consent and sexual violence.
Ideally you:
- Have strong presentation and communication skills.
- Are comfortable public speaking.
- Have a strong knowledge of the topics of consent and sexual violence.

Talk Consent is an organisation that provides affordable and effective consent education to schools to end peer-on-peer sexual violence.
We offer assemblies and workshop-style sessions to schools to help students understand consent and sexual violence, so that they can keep themselves and those around them safe and healthy.
Our sessions are delivered by young speakers who understand students and are very relatable.
We are a start-up organisation in our second year so whilst Talk Consent is growing, we are developing a strong culture built around:
