We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Admin Team Leader to join the Joint Therapy Services admin team located across 2 sites in Chester and Ellesmere Port. The Joint Therapy Services team is a forwards looking and proactive multidisciplinary team providing therapy services across the acute and primary healthcare sector within West Cheshire area.

You will have a mature outlook, experience of leading an admin team and be proactive with the ability to respond to regularly changing priorities.

You will demonstrate the ability to work efficiently, supervising admin colleagues, supporting the wider healthcare team, setting up and supporting admin systems as well as managing performance data. As we work with a broad client and colleague group, you will have strong communication skills of empathy, sensitivity and confidentiality.

Applicants must be IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, ideally with previous knowledge and experience using EMIS and CERNER.

You are able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, work well with others and enjoy working without supervision and as part of a team. You should have a passion for providing a quality service and a track record of adding value to a workplace.

The role is initially a 12 month contract working 37.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday-Friday).

To provide supervision, leadership and guidance to all Admin Teams within the Joint Therapy Service. The Admin team will be responsible for four key areas.
- Appointments hotline
- General clinical administration and admin support in specialist teams
- Receptions
- Referral management

To be responsible for the line management of the administration staff

To develop and integrate admin systems, processes and teams across Joint Therapy

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust consists of a 600 bedded large District General Hospital, which provides its services on the Countess of Chester Health Park, and a 64 bedded Intermediate Care Service at Ellesmere Port Hospital.

The Trust provides services in all of the surgical and medical specialties common to a District General Hospital with some specialist services.
