This is why we send students home early on a Tuesday and spend two hours each week talking, collaborating and planning our teaching, and then we all leave before 5pm. As one of 14 secondary schools in TKAT, the trust also offers excellent CPD opportunities, a wide range of support, and a number of events where you can meet and engage with colleagues from other schools. As a Head of department, you will be responsible for:
- The development of the curriculum across the department;
- Ensure all students make progress in line with school expectations;
- To develop, manage and lead the department team of staff;
- To ensure that the quality of teaching and learning across the department is consistently of a high standard;
- Strategically help lead the school by being an active part of the Extended Leadership Team.Safeguarding-
