Learning Services comprises three distinctive professional departments, working together to realise an excellent and high-quality student and graduate experience: Careers & Employability Services, Library Services, and Student Development and Study Skills.

**Library Services**

USW Library Services offers a wide range of services and collections to support the teaching, learning and research activities of the University, with a strong focus on a positive student experience, a digital-first collection development approach and continuous service improvement and innovation.

You will join a friendly team of Faculty Librarians within Library Services based at Pontypridd

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and self
- motivated librarian with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a strong understanding of the needs of library users and an interest in technological developments in libraries. You will have a qualification in a library or information science discipline or equivalent experience in an academic library or information service.

This is a 0.8fte post covering maternity leave for a period of 9 months.
