**Job Type: Full-Time**
**Salary: £25,000 base - £33,000 OTE**
A bit about VEST
Decarbonising electricity is vital to cutting global emissions. To allow electricity grids to hit 100% renewable generation, battery storage needs to be built in the GWs. VEST Energy is a clean tech trading house focused on battery storage. Our mission is to get more battery assets onto electricity grids. We help companies understand the business case for battery storage, build their assets and provide a route to market for these assets in trading markets.
**Job Summary**:
As a Channel Partner Sales Representative at VEST Energy, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential partners and customers. You will play a crucial role in our sales team by driving all stages of the sales process and setting our company up for success. You will work closely with the Managing Partner of the business in all sales activity. This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for sales.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Qualification**: Assess and qualify leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority. Ensure that leads meet the criteria for the sales team.
- **CRM Management**: Accurately record and manage all lead and prospect information in the CRM system. Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all activities and communications.
- **Follow-Up**: Nurture leads through regular follow-up communication to move them through the sales funnel. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. Negotiate and close sales deals. Prepare and deliver proposals and contracts to partners and clients. Maintain a close relationship with new and existing partners.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with marketing campaigns and strategies. Provide feedback to improve marketing materials and messaging. Work closely with internal teams to provide the correct sales collateral and information to prospective partners and customers.
- **Reporting**: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, prospect feedback, and sales pipeline status.
**Requirements**:
- **Experience**: Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or a similar role is a plus, but not required. Recent graduates with a strong desire to learn and grow in sales are encouraged to apply.
- **Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
