Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides.

This role will also require regular travel to customer / partner training venues, and customer visits.

A primary focus is preparation, scheduling and delivery of training classes to upskill our installer engineering base.- Assess training needs and current practices- Develop training materials and class materials- Set up training systems and equipment- Conduct surveys and evaluate training- Support the development and teach new skills to colleagues- Ensure all training materials are accurately stored, tracked and maintained for future revision and/or traceability

Skills and Qualifications

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Educated to HND or degree level- Experience as a technical trainer, training specialist, or similar role.- Demonstrates teaching aptitudes and a calm and patient demeanour.- Strong inter-personal and communications skills with the ability to deliver engaging training sessions.- Skilled problem solver with an enthusiasm for people development- Strong IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite- Professional manner and attitude- Strong relationship building skills- Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
