**Receptionist**:
Wedlake Bell is recruiting for a Receptionist to join our outstanding Reception team, to provide exceptional service to our clients and visitors. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Our Reception team are a close-knit team of two, and you'll work closely together to ensure Wedlake Bell provides excellent service to our clients and visitors. You will work in a varied role, ensuring the firm is always ready to receive clients, and ensure meeting rooms are organised well and catered.

We are searching for someone who embodies hospitality and professionalism, who can provide our clients and visitors with excellent customer service. Prior experience as a receptionist in a corporate environment is a must-have, preferably in a professional services environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Meet and greet all visitors in a warm and professional manner, managing cloakroom where appropriate;
- Answer internal and external telephone calls promptly and professionally, directing all calls to the relevant person and taking messages where necessary;
- Perform regular meeting room checks ensuring rooms are ready to receive the host and guest(s) and have all relevant media, A/V equipment and catering where requested;
- Co-ordinate the booking of meetings rooms in a proactive and professional way, including prioritising client meetings over internal meetings and prioritising reservations to make efficient use of meeting room space and meet client needs;
- Reconfirm 'next day' bookings and check all requirements and chase any missing information;
- Liaise closely with other support functions (i.e. IT, Kitchen, General Office, Marketing, etc) to ensure all services are seamlessly delivered;
- Carry out daily administrative tasks as required, including temporary pass logs, booking parking spaces assigned to Wedlake Bell;
- Keep accurate records of all correspondence between relevant parties when booking rooms;
- Report any defects or maintenance issues promptly to the relevant person, and ensuring that this is followed up;
- Ensure reception and client areas are clean and tidy at all times;
- Adhere to the firms health, safety and security policies where required;
- liaising with the building reception/security on relevant matters;
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.

**Desirable Skills and Qualifications**:

- Significant (ideally at least 2-3 years) receptionist experience in an office environment, preferably in a professional services or similar organisation;
- An excellent approach to customer service - providing professional, friendly, and proactive service to internal and external stakeholders alike;
- Excellent communication skills, with professional/native level English language skills (speaking and written);
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent personal presentation at all times; and
- Proficient in using IT tools (MS Office tools, etc).
