**The Role**

We are assisting **Pioneer People **looking for **SEN Teaching Assistants** for **Handsworth**. They work with a number of schools in the area, which are always looking for enthusiastic and passionate staff to join their team.

We have contracts until at least **July 2023** and starting **ASAP**.

Early years and KS1 available, any SEN Experience welcome.

Registration involves an enhanced DBS check, and ID checks and will require you to supply good professional references. Can provide a wide range of opportunities in schools and other educational institutions, with reasonable rates of pay, at times to suit your needs.

Regular external audits have shown repeatedly that our standards are exceptional. We are passionate about finding the right staff for each environment.

Working hours will be school time: 8-3, 8:30-3:30, and 8:45-4:00 with ongoing hiring.

**Salary rate**: £70-£90 per day

**Is this you?**

Do you have:

- A level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or similar)
- Experience working with those with ASD, SLD, MLD, Downs Syndrome etc
- Comfortable with personal care ( if required)
- A caring and nurturing personality
- Excellent communication both verbally and written
- Any other training or development that might be advantageous

**Salary**: £70.00-£90.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Handsworth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person
