**Reports to (Line Manager)**:Sales - Team Leader

**Responsible for**:

- Assisting Sales with all aspects of selling to new and existing customers as requested
- Making calls to customers on the direction of the Team Leader
- Completing any other task requested by the Team Leader

**Teamwork**:
Regular communication with Shipping/Warehouse and Accounts.

Participation in regularly held Sales Team and Company Meetings.

**Sales Process**:
Call a customer who is known to buy electronic components. They tell us the parts they are seeking. We find the parts held by stockists (we have an extensive database of stockists we regularly use). We quote the customer with a price and delivery date and any other information they require. The customer accepts the quote and places an order with us. We place an order for these parts with our supplier. They ship to us. We check the parts and ship them out to the customer.

**TASKS**

**Sales - approx. 95% of time**
- Making supplier calls to obtain prices,
- Possibly, once experienced, sourcing parts (when requested),
- Sending quotes to customers as requested,
- Placing orders with suppliers,
- Chasing orders from suppliers to ensure that we meet delivery targets for customers
- Manage your desk in the way, and to the daily routine, explained to you by your Line Manager
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values.
- Proactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departments within the Company.
- Answer and transfer some incoming telephone calls, regardless of whose customer/buyer they may by.

**Other - approx. 5% of time**
- As requested by the Sales Manager put company promotions and advertising on social media,
- Assist with marketing campaigns, customer mail outs,
- Assist Finance with identifying some purchases made by Sales on Credit Cards

**Sales Administration Assistant**

Each promotion comes with the responsibility of achieving increasing sales targets.

Team Leaders have at least one direct report.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**

Required:

- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C (equivalent) or above
- Prior experience of working in Admin/sales - any industry

Preferable:

- Academic Qualifications to A Level

Desirable, but not essential:

- Previous experience of a very similar role

**Position + Salary + Holidays**
- The position is permanent and full time
- £250 Quarterly Performance Bonus

- Holiday entitlement is 22 days per year plus Bank Holidays
- Additional annual allowance holidays are acrued after 2 years and 5 years service.

**Interview Process**
- All Interviews are held at our Head Office.
- First Interview is with the Sales Manager.
- If successful, the Second Interview is with the MD and a Sales Team Leader.

**Salary**: From £24,000.00 per year
