Print Room and Embroidery Machine Operator

We are looking for an embroidery machine operator (training can be arranged) for a full time opportunity working in our busy stitch room at Evolution Branded Clothing on the Westwood Industrial Estate.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating Tajima 4-head embroidery machines efficiently and with precision.
- Load designs, threads, and materials into the machines.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform quality checks on embroidered products to ensure the highest standard.
- Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the embroidery machines.
- Fold, check and pack orders ready for despatch.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Previous experience as an embroidery machine operator, preferably on Tajima machines is preferred but training can be arranged for the right person.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating multi-head embroidery machines.
- Knowledge of different embroidery techniques, threads, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills and a cooperative team player.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as needed.
- The exact hours and days of work can be discussed during the interview.

**Print Room**
- You will also be trained in our print side of the business learn how to use Corel Draw software to create client proofs and designs ready for vinyl cut and transfer printing.
- We have DTF machine for printing transfers.
- Use of Roland vinyl cutters.
- Various heat press equipment for applicating transfers to clothing.
- Any knowledge of the t-shirt printing world is helpful but training can be given.
- Use of heat presses and some stamina required to press transfers to clothing through the day.
- A good attention to detail and quality end product is a must, speed and efficiency is also very much needed.
