**The Role**

We are seeking a Part Time Housekeeper ideally with a background in the hotel industry for a privately run home in Troon, Ayrshire.

Reporting to the owner this role plays an integral part in the effective running of their household. As an experienced House Keeper you will be a self-starter, have a high level of attention to detail and standards. You are able to troubleshoot, oversee tradesmen, and keep track of household stocks, expenses and accounts.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure the home is kept organised, clean and tidy.
- Dusting, hoovering and mopping
- Ironing
- Keep on top of the laundry and wardrobe management
- Occasional meal prep
- Light gardening/plant care and outside tasks
- Making Beds
- Running errands
- Managing household expenses and monthly accounts
- Driving (do the necessary shopping and childcare runs etc.)
- Deal with the tradesmen that may come to the house and oversee their work
- Pet care
- Support to the Sandycloud office as and when required
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a housekeeper in a private household or luxury hotel or establishment is essential.
- The ability to learn and adapt in the household
- The ability to spot what needs doing in a home
- Creating systems if and when needed and/or maintaining them
- Great Organisational and Time Management skills
- Product/Fabric/Surface Knowledge
- Working with highly confidential documents and projects entrusted with
- Common sense approach to tasks and confidence to ask questions when unsure

Full Clean Driving Licence

We are also accepting applicants who would prefer to be self employed.

**Salary**: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
