**Personal Grants Administrator**

A well-recognised charity in Enfield is looking for an experienced Administrator who will be able to manage the operation of the Personal Grants scheme in accordance with the decisions, policies and guidelines agreed with the Trustees. The role is 4 hoursa day Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm (Starting time is negotiable). The role is paying around £14 per hour.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensure appropriate information, presentation and reporting to the Personal Grants committee.
- To work in accordance with the decisions of the Personal Grants committee in consultation with the Chair and Trust Manager
- To follow specific procedures and make appropriate recommendations to Trustees.
- Attend the Personal Grants committee meetings and to take accurate minutes.
- Ensure that committee agendas are drawn up accurately and within appropriate time scales and process all relevant decisions.
- To keep accurate records of personal grants awarded, grant payments, grant withdrawals and adjustments and report to the Personal Grants Committee when re-quired.

**Other Duties**:

- To support the Trust Manager in the flexible operation of the office together with the other members of the Charity staff.
- To support the Trustees in developing appropriate projects and outreach work to promote and develop the work of the Charity, appropriate to your role.
- To ensure that the Charity is presented in an appropriate and professional manner.
- To carry out other additional duties as directed by the Trust Manager within the scope of this job description

**Experience and Qualifications required**:

- At least 5 years' experience with a Charity/Charitable Trust or similar organisation
- Understanding grant making
- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Outlook, Word
- Experience of processing invoices, expenses and payments and experience with Sage
