Junior Buyer

**Wise Employment** are currently recruiting for an** Buyer** for one of the UK's fastest growing retailers based in the Plymouth area.

**Career Role, Modern Office, Plymouth Based. Temporary to Permanent opportunity. Monday - Friday, 08:45am - 17:30pm.**

As a** Junior **Buyer**, you will work very closely with the Buyer to enhance the clients offering to their customers. Developing relationships with new and existing Suppliers whilst ensuring maximum value and efficiency for the business.

You will have creative input within the department, working closely with design and QA to help shape product innovation.

Monitoring market trends, customer requirements, competitor activity and supplier product innovation, you will regularly analyse sales and suggest ways the business could be improved.

As part of this role, you will be expected to manage a team of 5 or less, ensuring that their work is of high quality and remains on track.

**REQUIREMENTS**

As a **Junior Buyer**, you will have previous experience in a retail environment and must be astute to commercial opportunities.

You will be committed and confident with choosing and buying products and will have excellent organisation and communication skills with a commercial eye.

You will have a positive attitude, the ability to thrive in fast paced business and will be comfortable working both individually and with a team.

You will have strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook, as well as excellent communication skills

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 845am until 530pm and offers a highly competitive rate of pay, as well as Hybrid and Remote working opportunities following probation.
