We are opening up some junior baker roles to join our team
- Are you a commis chef or CDP looking to add to your skill set?
- Are you a sourdough baker enthusiast looking get some industry experience?

Looking to learn how to bake sourdough bread and create laminated dough products?

We are looking for people to join our team with a thirst for knowledge with a great work ethic and wanting to join the team.

We have moved our main bakery to Ancoats where we now only bake specifically for our own stores. This role will encompass the integration of working on both the pastry and bread aspect of the whole team on rotation.

This is to ensure the full spectrum of a modern baker can learn, progress and hone their skill set while supporting and training others to do.

Being passionate about crafting constantly high quality products that contributes to the overall customer experience of TROVES customers.

Key attributes:

- Passionate about the food industry and knowledgeable about food
- You must be highly organised & have great attention to detail

- Good IT skills
- willing to follow procedures and recipes accurately.
- executing products/dishes consistently and a high standard.
- Calm and efficient in a busy environment
- Works safely and clean.

Main Responsibilities:

- Assisting in the operation of the bakery.
- A full, clean UK (or eligible ) driving license is preferable.
- assists in stock purchasing, receipt, storage, preparation and minimising wastage.
- Maintaining a high level of food quality and production.
- To ensure that at all times cleanliness, food safety and all other Health and Safety.
- To follow all Training & Development and assisting in the development of others.

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- sourdough baking: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
- cake making: 1 year (preferred)
- general baking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- drivers license (preferred)
