Greenkeeper

Greenisland Golf Club, a beautiful 9 hole mature parkland golf course situated in East Antrim is currently recruitng for a full time greenkeeper.

We are looking for a suitably qualfiied and experienced greenkeeper to assist in maintaining the golf course and grounds to the highest of standards.

The following knowledge and skills are required:

- Minimum 2 years (preferably parkland) greenkeeping experience
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Sports Turf Maintenance
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations
- PA1, 2 and 6 Spraying Certificates (would be an advantage)
- Applicants must be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Be self-motivated and a team player with the willingness to go ’the extra mile’
- Knowledge of the game of golf and machinery maintenance and set up would be advantageous

The role is for a full time salaried position, which will include some weekend work on a rota basis.

This is a physically demanding role which requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
