**Location**: Rugby

**Contract**: Permanent

**Shift/Hours**: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:30 (40 hours per week)

**Salary**: £25,000 per annum

**Responsible for**: Inbound Quality and Conformance

**As a Quality Controller you will be**:

- Working within the Distribution Centre to identify real time non-conformances.
- Responsible for managing all supplier compliance for deliveries into the NDC.
- Collating and analysing systemic data to identify trends/non-conformance.
- Use root cause analysis to understand true defect origins.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify efficiency improvements, build proposal, and deliver with agreed outcome.
- Building relations with internal/external stakeholder.
- Co-ordinate meetings to review analysis, ensuring all key internal/external stakeholders are included and meetings are conducted in a timely fashion.
- Facilitate meetings to ensure the best outcome and set realistic timeframes for delivery on expectations.
- Hold all stakeholders (internal/external) to account should they fail to meet deadlines/actions.
- Establish monthly reporting suite for Top 10 Disti’s/Partners and share with the supplier management team.
- Collate data for QBR, supply chain, SLT meetings when required.
- Ensure Go Ramp (Delivery Scheduling Platform) is utilised by all suppliers, utilised correctly by the Warehouse Receiving team and report accordingly and aligned to Warehouse KPIs.
- Follow Company processes and procedures to ensure that a high level of quality and accuracy is always maintained.
- Maintain a comprehensive filing system of all CDW Supplier performance documentation to ensure that all records are easily accessible.
- Flexibility maybe required on Working hours, in some instances at short notice.
- Good housekeeping is essential, and you will be required to keep the working areas of the business safe and clear of any item/object that hinders a safe working environment.
- To be continuously aware of company Health & Safety Policies, including environmental, and always adhere to them.

**As a Quality Controller it is required that you have**:

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, preferably including Excel, Outlook.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Establishing and maintaining excellent internal and external service levels whilst constantly identifying improvement areas.
- Business management skills with a total commitment to the highest levels of customer service by helping managing performance KPIs, reducing waste and delivering measurable targets within the warehouse function.
- Must possess a proactive approach to problem solving at root cause, with a can-do attitude.
- Multi-functional team player experienced in all aspects of general warehousing.
- Experience in investigation, remediation of issues and the failure of processes, the priority being the customer experience.
- Supplier and sales facing with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.
- Ability to hold key stakeholders/suppliers to account.
- Ability to ensure that the Health, Safety and Housekeeping standards are always kept to the highest possible level.
