**Enabler responsibilities**

Enablers will be expected to fulfil all the following roles:

- **Exhibition areas**:

- Hosting educational activities with school and college groups
- Leading family activity workshops during weekends and holidays
- Interacting with all visitors on a daily basis within the exhibition areas ensuring an excellent standard of customer service at all times.
- Reporting all health and safety issues to the Visitor Services Coordinators and Visitor Services Managers immediately.
- Reporting exhibit faults to the information desk as soon as they happen.
- **Ticketing and Information desk**:

- Welcoming the visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Having a flexible approach to customer service ensuring our visitors leave delighted.
- **Retail shop**:

- Creating new displays for the merchandise in the shop area
- Demonstrating new and exciting products to the visitors
- Adopting up selling and cross selling techniques to maximise sales as directed by the Retail Supervisor.
- **General**:

- To ensure the safety of visitors and staff at all times by adhering to Health and Safety regulations and appropriate codes of safe working practice as laid down by the management. Responsible for ensuring that all health and safety incidents and first aid incidents are reported and recorded to the Operations General Manager in line with the Health and Safety policy.
- To undertake other duties as may be required by the Managing Director, commensurate with the grade and status of the appointment.

**Person Specification**

The Enablers must be ENTHUSIASTIC individuals, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enablers must possess an ability to stimulate interest and excitement in all ages and abilities of visitors.

Each Enabler will play a key role in a team who will ensure that visitors to Magna have an enhanced, exciting and unique day out. Enabler’s will also take personal responsibility for making the best use of their time to ensure the optimum running of Magna as a whole.

All Enablers must have a flexible approach to duties, to interchange roles with other staff, and be available to work at weekends, bank holidays and additional hours when required.
