**Job Title**: Estates Supervisor

**Responsible to**: Estates Manager

**Objectives of the post**:

- Ensure the implementation of comprehensive maintenance programme for Senior and Lower School.
- Organise, lead, supervise and performance manage the Estate Operatives across both Senior and Lower School to deliver agreed objectives.
- To lead all aspects of Health and Safety and compliance, reporting into the Estate Manager.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Organise, lead, supervise and performance manage the Estate Operatives across both sites to deliver agreed objectives.
- Be a part of the open and close rota to ensure both senior and lower school are operational.
- Work alongside Cleaning and Transport supervisor to achieve all objectives set by Estate Manager and SLT.
- Ensure a hands-on approach with the team, working with all team members in coaching and developing leadership approach.
- To oversee the planning and organising of the Estate team across both sites and act as the main link of the school and the team to allocate jobs and time by priority.
- To ensure all Compliance and Health and Safety matters are planned and completed on time.
- To ensure that all service and equipment are services in accordance with a planned maintenance programme.
- To ensure that events are planned, and an up-to-date Rota is in place to cover opening, closing and all events, in advance.
- To work alongside external contractors planning in works within the team.
- To be available for emergency call out in relation to building services and system failure. Ensuring there is expectation from the team to help deliver this.
- To work alongside the Estate Manager for any emergency requirements, damage to property to minimise any potential loss or disruption to business.
- To ensure that comfortable climate conditions are maintained within the buildings, whilst taking steps to improve carbon footprint through energy-efficient working practices.
- To ensure that all Estates Operatives are aware and trained on all safe working practices, and these are followed.
- To undertake any other duties that may arise or as may be delegated from time to time by the appropriate post.

**Salary**: £21,500.00-£24,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
