We are looking to recruit tyre fitters who will undertake all aspects of tyre fitting, removal, balancing on car, van and 4x4 tyres in our prestige centre. You can expect a busy, fair and fun environment. We have up to date leading edge and if you are not familiar with our systems, we will provide full training.

The ongoing cleanliness and tidiness of all workspaces, customer areas and equipment is paramount as is the ability to increase sales and services offered by the company.

**Duties and Tasks**:

- Carry out service, inspection and repair work to company / Customer’s tyres to VOSA standards.
- Identify and advise the supervisor of any additional work required.
- Ensure the work undertaken is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with instructions.
- Ensure workshop resources are used in a safe manner.
- Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental guidelines.
- Completion, in a detailed and appropriate manner, of all relevant paperwork.
- Endeavour to reduce vehicle down time to a minimum.
- Carryout breakdown tyre maintenance / repair work.
- Carry out any other relevant duties as instructed by the line manager.
- Ensure equipment is maintained as per health and safety and company policies and processes.

**You will have/be**:

- Relevant City & Guilds Tyre Qualifications (Commercial) - (Preferable but not essential)
- Full driving license (Preferable)
- A team player.
- Good knowledge of all H S & E regulations.
- Flexible to meet the volumes of work that may arise.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- At least 1 year of tyre fitting experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
