**Job Overview**

Job Location: Leighton Buzzard
Reports to: Workshop Manager

**Position Details**

Job Purpose:
To work as part of the Workshop department, in a standalone position. This role plays a critical part in the process of turning our machines around that have just arrived back from a completed job, to getting them back out to a new site.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Initial examination in surface to be treated, to determine work required
- Preparation of surfaces to be painted
- Preparing paints to be applied. This may involves mixing paints, so knowledge of paint material & chemical agents is beneficial
- Quality checking finished items before releasing items for re-distribution
- Performing regular maintenance checks on all tools, equipment, and machinery
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Responsible for managing and prioritising workload
- Keep area Spray booth tidy and clean
- Ensure effective communications at all levels
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures as well as legislation
- Any other duties commensurate with the role

**Experience, Qualifications & Skills required**

Minimum Experience Required:

- Experience of similar work preferred.
- Knowledge of mastclimbers an advantage

Preferred Education Requirements:

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Required Technical Skills:

- Various Construction Skills to CITB or equivalent
- Basic understanding of how to use tools (as required)
- Experience with smart devices and able to use Excel.
- Physically fit
- Forklift Licence beneficial but not essential
