Procurement Officer

**Procurement Officer - Asian Market Specialist**
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Source and procure quality products from the Chinese and Indian markets to meet client requirements and specifications.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new suppliers, products, and trends in the Asian market.
- Negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, production, and logistics teams, to ensure timely delivery of goods and seamless coordination of procurement activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitoring performance and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements related to importing goods from Asian markets.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
- Provide support and guidance to junior members of the procurement team, sharing knowledge and best practices related to sourcing from Asian markets.
- Requirements_:

- Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on sourcing from the Chinese and Indian markets.
- Strong understanding of import regulations, customs procedures, and supply chain logistics related to importing goods from Asia.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of procurement activities.
- Fluency in English is required, proficiency in Chinese and/or Indian languages is a plus.
