What you'll be doing:
In Hatfield, Hertfordshire lives one amazing gentleman in his mid-20's who is looking to welcome a part-time support worker into his home. He is very sociable and enjoys activities such as swimming, sailing, bike riding, long walks, fun fairs, music festivals and theme parks with a thrill for the scary rides. You will be a confident, resilient, and creative. We're looking for someone who can think on their feet and find opportunities, in every moment, to ensure this gentleman can continue to thrive in his home. He can be very independent, but he does need support to prepare healthy meals, shopping for groceries, clean and organise the home, maintaining finances and personal care.
This role allows the opportunity for person centred 1:1 support. We are seeking Support Workers who feel confident to work by themselves without close or direct supervision. You would need to be flexible with shift availability as you will be part of a wider support team. Shift patterns can vary from 7am-3pm/ 3pm-10pm/ long days/sleep ins. We're looking for a Support Worker who can work on the weekends.
This home is easily accessible from the A14 or A414 and just 21 miles north of London. It is a 10-minute drive from Hatfield house, a fine Jacobean House and Garden in a spectacular countryside setting.
