The Product Management team is a sub-team of Product, responsible for all aspects of lifecycle management in relation to LGIM’s funds and products. Their purpose is to manage a client-centric offering, enable achievement of LGIM’s overall commercial strategy,and to ensure LGIM’s product activity is in line with regulatory standards and LGIM’s Product Process.

The role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing LGIM’s approach to Consumer Duty in conjunction with the project team, SMEs / business teams and executive. Whist the role will be situated within the Product team, it will work across therelevant business areas and cover all outcomes of the Duty, in order to ensure that LGIM meets the regulatory expectations and set out under the Duty.

In this role, there is an expectation that the individual will present at product governance committees, LGIM committees and LGIM or fund boards as needed to support implantation of LGIM’s approach to Consumer Duty.

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract.

**What you'll be doing**
- **Develop, drive and deliver LGIM’s approach to Consumer Duty,** working with the broader project team to identify requirements, and manage delivery across relevant business areas to meet regulatory deadlines.
- **Ensure that all Product Management lead product and process change**s are implemented and maintained according to the Product Process Manual and the Product Lifecycle Management framework.
- **Lead and manage the design and implementation of effective process changes** to bring an effective implementation.
- **For the period of the contract, to maintain and continuously gain knowledge of the Consumer Duty regulation** and the impact of regulatory guidelines on product literature, marketing, and advertising, keeping abreast of changes and developmentsand being able to discuss these in an informed manner
- **Manage and deliver development of regulatory documentation** and communications, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are accurately incorporated, prospectus changes are delivered, and governance oversight is provided for KIIDs.
- **Build and manage key relationships with internal and external** stakeholders to enlist the required support for, and adherence to, all relevant Product Management policies and procedures.
- **Ensure all relevant operational areas are both involved in decision making processes** around Product Management lead activity and informed of changes that will affect their own and Product’s effectiveness in terms of Product Lifecycle Managementdelivering clear and fair customer communications and service.
- **Supply technical expertise to internal stakeholders about the impact of Consumer Duty on LGIM’s product structures and processes**, attend internal product governance committees as required, to ensure existing products remain appropriate,compliant and legal for the market.
- **Embed the four outcomes of Consumer Duty into the Product Process and deliver training** across the Product team on the impact of the regulation on product strategy, development and management considerations.

**What we're looking for**
- Breadth of experience in project management, and delivery of product change activity.
- Excellent knowledge of the asset management industry including investor types, distributional channels, and the competitor landscape.
- A deep understanding of regulation and strong technical knowledge of pooled product structures (including UCITS and non-UCITS) across a range of domiciles and jurisdictions.
- Excellent knowledge of product life cycle management, and the role of product management and governance within that cycle.
- Experience in senior stakeholder engagement; ability to influence and engage at all levels across the firm and externally (suppliers and Boards etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to articulate and convey concepts and ideas to a Board level audience in a clear and compelling manner.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and seeks continual improvement and efficiency in delivery of processes.
