Qhse Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced QHSE Advisor to join our HSE team. The role is responsible for QHSE management across two Hubs - Coalville and Northampton. Pall-Ex operate a 24/6 working operation and therefore attendance at either site may occasionally fall within unsociable hours.

**Role Specific Responsibilities**
- Implement, maintain, and monitor Health and Safety management systems
- Identify issues and opportunities for continual improvement and work with the team to ensure they are actioned
- Maintain legal compliance with all aspects of the QHSE systems
- Manage the internal and external audit function, schedules and complete action plans
- Conduct site visits and inspections in line with audit and company requirements
- Advise on new and current relevant legislation and its impact to the business operations
- Additional duties as required by the Head of QHSE/Quality and Compliance Director in line with the needs of the business

**What we’d like from you**
- Previous experience in a health and safety role in a logistics setting would be preferable
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Integrity, professional and people focused
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office to produce H&S reports

**Working hours**

The working days are Monday to Friday, but we are looking for flexibility in working hours due to business needs.
