We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman to join our team. The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing painting and decorating projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and a comprehensive understanding of painting and decorating techniques.

**Responsibilities**:
Coordinate and supervise painting and decorating projects, including planning work schedules, assigning tasks and managing resources effectively.

Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and achieve project objectives.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays and take proactive measures to address them in a timely manner.

Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among team members.

Communicate regularly with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to provide updates on project status, address any concerns and ensure satisfaction with the work performed.

**Requirements**:
Proven experience in a similar role within the painting and decorating industry, with a track record of successfully managing projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence in their work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to effectively liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Thorough knowledge of painting and decorating techniques, materials and equipment, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
