**About the Front-End Developer position**:
As a Front-End Developer, you’ll be responsible for defining, building and implementing the customer experience on Distrelec’s multilingual webstore.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with 3rd party integrations of various tools, implement outstanding UI/UX as we are working through our webstore overhaul.

In addition, you’ll collaborate with and mentor other team members on larger projects such as new integrations or building new awesome features for our customers.

**Day-to-day, the Front-End Developer position will involve**:

- Being responsible for key site functionality and inputting into new technical design
- A keen eye for coding standards and recommending / implementing new technologies as the opportunities arise
- Ensuring the correct implementation in respect of technical requirements and performance
- Delivering code which is well tested and consistently error free
- Reviewing peers’ code and collaborating within our SEO squad and with colleagues across the organisation and around the world
- Maintaining up-to-date documentation
- Timely communication of any potential delay in progress and fulfilment of milestones
- Being part of a team of software developers, responsible for developing and supporting industry leading, robust and innovative software solutions on our Hybris platform
- Keeping up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies
- Interpreting business requirements and building them into working solutions

**We're looking for a Front-End Developer with**:

- Experience and extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential
- Strong knowledge of a JavaScript framework (Angular preferred)
- Good understanding of web performance and optimisation
- Knowledge of CSS Pre & Post Processors
- Strong knowledge of code versioning (GIT)
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Time management and organisation skills
- Strong communication skills

- Salary: £45,000 - £55,000, which is flexible dependent on experience level
