Who are we:
Forrest Coffee House is an award winning coffee shop in the heart of the midlands.

A new venture during lockdown, we are now looking for a talented pastry chef to join our team.

You’ll be working with a young, friendly group of chefs where we want you to be as creative as possible
- Creative individual able to work with pastry for our cake display.
- Able to manage time efficiently and be aware of costings.
- Happy to experiment with flavours and create bakes seasonally.
- Friendly positive outlook, willing to become part of team, happy to pitch in where needed.

You will be tasked with;
- Creating the morning display
- Ordering and stock management
- Training of junior staff members
- Maintaining excellent hygiene standards.
- Creating new and innovative bakes
- Working with head chef to change menu, improve efficiency and costs.

The right individual should ideally be interested in cafe culture and really be invested in matching your products to our brand - you will be given full creative license to do so.

You should already be skilled in basic cake making, working with dough, and other confectionery items.

Headed by a young owners with an ambition to grow the company, we’re looking for a like minded individuals who can problem solve and buy into our team’s culture.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast growing company and to really stamp your own style on our business.

Hours will typically be 7am
- 3.30 or 9-5.30pm. With no split shifts.

Salary will be based on experience. You must be available to work weekends.
