Shot Blaster

**We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as**:

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- To Abrasive Blast steel to the specified requirements of any contract work undertaken by QPS.
- To be able to work un-supervised in a container blast unit.
- To be able to lift pieces into and out of the cabinet either manually or with the aid of lifting equipment.

Previous experience as a surface finisher is preferable but not essential.

The role involves wearing RPE equipment blast overalls and boots for extended periods.

Full training will be provided which may include traveling or online.

Other duties may include working in other departments as and when required.

The role will be 37 hours per week (basic).

Mon - Thurs 06:00 - 14:30pm

Fri - 06:00 - 11:00

Overtime is an option and is paid at 1 ½ your basic hourly rate.
