EBCF are currently recruiting for a ESOL tutor to join us on an hourly paid basis with experience of teaching ESOL to adults (19+)
You must be dedicated to delivering, motivating and inspiring teaching and learning to unleash the potential of our students and you will be expected to prepare schemes of work, lesson and assessment plans and provide appropriate academic and pastoral support to leaners as required.
**Responsibilities**:
- To plan, prepare and teach face to face courses for adults.
- You will also be expected to use information on students’ starting points, such as initial assessments, to plan teaching and learning.
- Participating in the enrolment and induction of students
- Conduct skills assessment and discuss individual goals with students.
- Design customised learning programs to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- To provide appropriate student feedback and support and educational advice and information where necessary, and to create an appropriate and welcoming atmosphere for students.
- To plan, prepare and teach courses face to face for adults within the EBCF programme of work, as agreed with the appropriate Education Coordinator.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to get best out of learners
- Ability to create a classroom atmosphere which encourages learners to participate and engage as much as possible.
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to deliver to deadlines.
**Essential Criteria**
- L3 (_or above_) Education and Training teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, PTTLS or equivalent)
- Prior Teaching Experience (2 years minimum)
- Based in the UK, with the Right to work in the UK.
- Available for face-to-face sessions
- Ability to travel between both EBCF venues as/when required JET Shop (B8 1LY) / Summerfield Community Centre (B18 4EJ)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
