Catering Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to work as part of our team at our on site Barista and Deli bar - and to bring an energetic and confident approach at a busy corporate office in Nottingham City Centre. Serving up a great customer service is at the heart of what we do and the key to the success of our operations.
On a daily basis, you will participate in food production, preparation and food service, embodying our high standards and adherence to health and safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations. You will prepare our hot drinks to specified instructions, clean our station and equipment to agreed standards, and operate relevant IT catering systems in addition to providing outstanding customer service.
You will also be proactive in informing management teams of any defects in equipment and/or the premises, assist in the maintenance of records, systems and procedures as well as acting where necessary to ensure the effective operation of the Catering establishment.
Previous catering experience in a similar environment, basic Food Hygiene, and basic Health and Safety certificates are desirable. However, these certifications are not essential as comprehensive training will be provided. To perform the duties effectively, you should possess adequate numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
Hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 2pm - with some flexibility to suit the needs of the business.
