Indirect Buyer

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to announce their continued partnership with a Globally leading manufacturer in the search and selection for an Indirect Buyer based in Goole.
Reporting into the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for a spend of £30-50M and tasked with sourcing on a Global scale.
Role Summary:
Key to this role will be the ability to source and develop supplier relationships, delivering value for money and targeted P&L targets.
You will lead on commercial options for Indirect Spend - setting up requirements, agreements and tenders.
This Indirect Buyer's Duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Lead and or support the Indirect sourcing activities that delivers Value for Money and targeted P&L benefits whilst ensuring supply strategies support stakeholders' needs and underpin wider business objectives
- Lead and or support the development of commercial options for Indirect Expenditure, agree requirements, manage tenders and benchmarking exercises, analyse and evaluate results and generate supply options for sign off ensuring spend is leveraged and optimisedwhilst ensuring robust contracts are in place to protect the business
- Manage the commercial relationship between Supply Organisation and the Indirect Supply Base
- Develop commercial options for supply - agree requirements, manage tenders and benchmarking exercises, analyse and evaluate results and generate supply options for sign off
Elevation Procurement and Supply Chain are keen to speak with individuals that meet the following skills and experience:

- Proven background in global sourcing techniques
- Managed spends at a similar level to £30M+
- CIPS/Degree Qualified
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Proven ability to negotiate and sustain working relationships at all levels
