Professional Indemnity Lawyer - Construction - _**5+ PQE **_- Hybrid
My client, who is a Top 20 multinational law firm, is looking to recruit a 5+ Year PQE Lawyer to join their Professional Indemnity team with a construction focus. The team have been providing specialist advice for the insurance market for over 40 years. Theteam specialise in defending high value and complex claims against professionals, for example contractors, sub-contractors, architects, engineers, interior designers, consultants, surveyors, valuers and planners. They are currently acting in a number of themost high-profile construction disputes and public inquiries in the industry.
**The Role**:
- Working on disputes across multiple professions within the construction sector
- Undertaking detailed policy coverage investigations
- Defend claims against construction professionals and advise them and their insurers on strategy and case management
- Develop contacts and relationships with insureds and their clients
- Assist in the long-term development with the business
- Possibility to go on client secondment
- _**At least 5 year PQE**_
- Experience in defence of professional indemnity disputes with considerable experience of construction professional indemnity claims
- Keen to hear from construction disputes experienced lawyers and are interested in expanding their career into construction insurance
- Experience of insurance policy coverage issues is an advantage
- Strong academic ability
- Thorough approach to complex legal analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and develop client relationships
