**Job Role**:We are recruiting for **Senior Care Assistants** to join us in **Colchester, Essex.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Keep frequent communication with the home manager.
- Assist with daily living activities and household chores of the residents.
- Create and retain appropriate records.
- Act in the capacity of Senior Health Care Assistant, which includes managing staff.
- Helping in the provision of personal care.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ensure the welfare, health, and safety of the clients.
- Be accountable for giving residents their medications in line with rules and procedures.
- Be accountable for doing realistic evaluations of each resident and reporting those results to ensure continuity of care.
- Taking part in drafting and updating resident paperwork and care plans.
- Perform formal supervisions and evaluations; participate in care planning; and mentor care assistants.

**Job Requirements**:

- 2 years’ experience in care within the UK.
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role within the care setting.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Medication Support (Qualification Attained or Working towards)

**Preferred skills**
