**Job Title: Site Apprentice**

**Salary: £6.40 per hour - National Apprentice Rate**

**Location: Holyhead Primary Academy**

**Fixed term for 2 years or until completion of qualification**

Holyhead Primary School is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice School Site Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to start a career in the education sector and gain valuable experience in school facilities management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with general maintenance and repairs around the school premises
- Ensuring the school grounds are kept clean and tidy
- Supporting the school caretaker with day-to-day tasks
- Assisting with health and safety checks and procedures
- Helping to set up for school events and activities

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Basic DIY skills and knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
