**Role responsibilities**

We have a great opportunity within our Finance team for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to help support the team in maintaining a portfolio of supplier accounts to ensure supplier payments are made in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Ensuring invoices are recorded and coded accurately within Microsoft Dynamics GP, and authorised in line with delegated authority.
- You will liaise across the business and with external suppliers to address invoice queries and will prepare supplier payments by electronic funds transfer (BACS/CHAPS) and cheque.
- As and when required you will also be involved in ad-hoc duties and assist the Purchase Ledger Supervisor and Assistant Finance Manager when needed.

**_Essential requirements to be considered for this role: _**
- Previous experience of fast paced accurate data processing within a busy department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be able to work well within a team
- Excellent attention to detail
