Working for a very well-established manufacturing company that supplies medical teaching aids and anatomical models to the healthcare education sector in the UK and internationally. The Company is seeking a highly motivated individual, with a passion forProject Management, to work with the R&D, Production and Sales Departments to evolve our product range. The role requires an organised, analytical and creative person, who will oversee the whole product development life cycle from conceptualisation to prototypingthrough to making ready for production and delivery to customers.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible and accountable for new and existing Product Development Projects
- Identifying potential Market opportunities for the company and suppliers’ products
- Defining the key features, specifications and requirements of the product based on curriculum relevance, customer preferences and business capabilities
- Interaction and communication with leading Healthcare Professionals in development of products in line with advancements in healthcare education
- Researching the market potential with in depth market analysis and discussions with colleagues and potential customers
- Managing processes from idea generations through to handover to production department
- Ability to document and report on stage-by-stage developments on individual projects
- Practising discretion when discussing the projects, implementing production roll-out and maintaining confidentiality throughout
- Assist with product launches and campaigns, which may involve travel
- Work with Sales and Marketing Department to identify suitable launch strategy
- Work with KOL’s and HCP’s involved in developing models, to create case studies and validity papers, where appropriate
- Write briefs for video or promotional collateral, which can be used to create both informative and persuasive content by the Marketing Department
- Attend key launch events and conferences to support the sales staff and interact with customers
- Responsibility for preparation, documentation and handover of: Bill of Materials to Production Department, Assembly Instructions to Production Department and content for Instruction Manual to Marketing Department
- Clear and concise understanding and explanation of actions to be taken by all parties involved in projects to ensure seamless progress
- Manage information on sourced new materials, with close involvement of colleagues and negotiate realistic and achievable timelines with staff and suppliers
- Incorporate digital technology where this can be regarded as an added benefit
- Manage and negotiate multiple product deadlines and ensure staff involvement meets this and document the sign off processes for each stage of all new products
- Maintain and report on product related legislation, to ensure that all company products are compliant
- Close cross department working and co-operation with R&D and Production
- Maintain records of the company products and their developments

**Key Competencies for this role**
- Working knowledge of ERP Systems (SAP Business One would be an advantage), Microsoft Project, or similar Project Management Tool, Word and Excel
- Experience in a similar role
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
