BTG Accountancy & Finance is working with a well-established business in derby that is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant who will be responsible for the plant accounts, therefore you will play a key role in business partnering the productionand commercial teams.
This role will give you a broad range of duties, you'll be responsible for:

- Preparing management accounts and reporting for designated Site(s)
- Preparing the Budget for the designated Site(s) according to the Group timetable
- Supporting the annual audit process
- Driving commercial and financial awareness across the designated Sites and offering financial insight into commercial arrangements.
- Monitoring Site performance against targets, understanding and reporting variances, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Developing KPI measures to support enhanced financial awareness and accountability at a Site level.
- Holding responsibility for Site ledgers and maintaining standard costs.
- Providing supplemental support at month end with a range of further responsibilities for all sites, including inter-company reconciliation process and volume reporting
- Ad hoc projects, including the development of a new ERP system
