Drupal Site Builder - £250 to £280 Per Day Inside IR35 - Remote Working - 3 Month Contract
**Your new company**
A non-departmental public body that operates across Great Britain has embarked on an ambitious digital transformation programme. In an increasingly digital world, the way that people are searching for and consuming information is changing. You will join theorganisation as a part of the ongoing strategy to reach the right people in the right way and at the right time.
As part of this work, the public body are currently re-developing their websites, with work on their consumer facing websites well underway. The next phase of the programme will be to redevelop the in-market language websites - German, Spanish, French, Italian,Dutch and Arabic - in line with the global English consumer website.
**Your new role**
The client are set to migrating their in-market language websites from a Drupal 7 platform to Drupal 9. To achieve this, they are looking for a Migrator to work alongside our Content and Digital Product teams on the launch of our language sites.
You will use their Drupal 9 system to set up web pages, populate them with translated content (provided), and publish them at scale. This role does not require hands-on development skills, or content creation / copywriting, but it does require advanced experienceof complex content migration using CMS, and high organisational ability.
Some responsibilities include:
- Setting up web pages according to the agreed layout
- Populating web pages based on approved web copy and images
- Working effectively and collaboratively with In-market and Digital Team colleagues on assigned projects and activities
- Ensuring all appropriate features, components, content types, video, images, etc. render as expected on the finished website and troubleshooting any issues
- Meeting website requirements and following best practices to publish sites to their accessibility standards
- Documenting and reporting progress, communicating regularly with other members of the project team
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive experience of using Content Management Systems to populate content, including familiarity with Drupal
- Experience of working with complex, component-based page layouts, using a range of types of content (including rich media)
- Experience of publishing content on high-traffic, public-facing websites where accuracy is essential
- Ability to manage content at scale
- Good general knowledge of SEO, usability and accessibility issues relating to presentation of content, with ability to spot and correct issues
- High level of attention to detail and thorough quality assurance processes
- Ability to adapt to multiple tasks and shifting work objectives
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum is preferred
- Knowledge of any of the following languages is preferred: German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Arabic. Please indicate which language(s) and level of proficiency you can offer, if available.
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
**What you'll get in return**
