Senior Ecologist

As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing ecological projects, writing and proof reading reports and undertaking survey work. This is a remote position, offering a unique opportunity for a professional with a passion for ecology and a commitment to excellence.

As we continue to grow our ecology division, there is the opportunity for this role to turn into a managerial position. There are great opportunities for career progression as the company continues to expand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking extended phase 1 habitat surveys
- Undertaking phase 2 surveys for legally protected species
- Writing and reviewing ecological reports
- Project Management
- Liaising with clients

Required:

- 3-5 years of working in an ecological consultancy
- Phase 1 and protected species survey experience
- Experience in writing reports to a high standard
- Protected species survey licences
- A knowledge of the relevant legislation and policies
- Be a member of CIEEM or a relevant professional body
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Project management experience
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work in a team and on their own
