Duties and Responsibilities:

- Liaise with clients to determine their specific requirements, such as the number of passengers, pick-up and drop-off locations, and special requests
- Plan and coordinate the allocation of coaches, taking into account factors such as availability, capacity, and distance
- Schedule drivers and ensure they are assigned to the appropriate coach and route
- Communicate with drivers to ensure they are aware of their schedule and any specific requirements for each booking
- Monitor coach hire bookings to ensure they are on schedule and respond to any issues or delays as required
- Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all coach hires and related activities
- Manage customer relationships, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that arise
- Provide regular reports on coach hire bookings and related activities to management

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in coach hire planning/scheduling or a similar resource planning / management role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly
- Proficient in the use of technology, including Microsoft Office and scheduling software
- Knowledge of the coach hire industry, including regulations and best practices, is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Harrow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Coach Hire Planning or Resource Planning: 1 year (preferred)
