**Responsibilities**:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to support students with SEN in their learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
**Classroom Support**:

- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons, adapting materials to meet individual student needs.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with autism, helping them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

**Individual Education Plans (IEPs)**:

- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for students, addressing their specific needs and goals.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Liaise with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to supporting students.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, sharing observations and insights to enhance student support strategies.

**Pastoral Support**:

- Provide pastoral support to students, fostering positive relationships and promoting emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with families to ensure a supportive home-school partnership that maximizes student success.

**Behaviour Management and Inclusion**:

- Promote positive behaviour and relationships within the school community, creating an inclusive and respectful environment for all students.
- Implement strategies to support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties, enabling them to fully participate in school life.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Hold a bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Strong academic background with a passion for working with students with SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with students.

**Team Player and Organizational Skills**:

- Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively support multiple students and tasks.

**Confidentiality and Safeguarding**:

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare of students.
