Annual salary pro rata: £19,000 - £21,000 - An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dance School Administrator to join the Dance School team.

Although this role can be managed from home, it involves working some evenings and weekends for various activities mainly at the beginning and end of Dance School terms, but also for Dance School exam days and Summer School outings and events. We travel abroad for competitions at least once a year where all your expenses are paid.

Reporting to and working closely with the Dance School team, the Dance School Administrator coordinates and oversees a range of quality activities which upholds the aims of the WPA.

As a Dance School Administrator you will:
Provide administrative support to the Dance School team across all activities;
Act as a point of contact for coaches, suppliers, students / parents / guardians offering excellent customer service;
Contribute ideas and adminstrate high quality, innovative and successful Dance School classes and events;
Promote our Dance School to ensure maximum numbers and income via calls, press outreach and social media;
You will carry out daily/weekly administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office and Dance School; including printing registers and keeping communication notices / handouts / noticeboards / website updated at all times.

Deal with enquiries from Dance School parents, students and teachers, and cover for Dance School as required;
Support the Dance School Team to arrange parent / guardian Watching Days;
Under the guidance of the Dance School Officers and Head of Dance School, work with faculty and parents / guardian to allocate students to classes appropriate to their level.;
Maintain and provide students with all necessary information to attend Dance School, including use of the building, rules and regulations, dress code and uniform;
Co-ordination of Dance School examinations including the completion of the examination entry forms and distribution of results and supporting documentation;
Assist the Dance School with Dance School mail-outs and communications, including termly newsletters and e-shots;
Keep up-to-date and accurate records of student numbers, withdrawals etc. for departmental records, as necessary.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dance education
- Strong knowledge of educational best dance practices and curriculum development
- Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Experience in working with diverse student populations

**Skills**:

- Educate: Ability to provide effective instruction and support to students, teachers, and staff
