Bramley Sunnyside Infant School are looking for a new site Caretaker, Monday to Friday, 42 weeks per year

Working times are 6.45am - 9.45am & 2.45pm - 5.45pm, 30 hours per week, term time plus three weeks

This will involve working the first and last week of summer break and some days to cover the recess cleans at Christmas and Easter.

There will be a requirement on occasion to be flexible and accommodate late lock ups following parents evening etc.

Under the direction of the Headteacher, your role will be to provide an efficient and effective caretaking service. This will include responsibility for security, cleanliness, general repairs and maintenance of premises and grounds with some monitoring of costs and certain responsibilities around H&S checks and recording.

Your experience should include: - looking after and maintaining buildings, e.g. General maintenance and minor repairs, security general cleaning of premises and undertaking Health and Safety checks, such as fire alarm testing, meter reading, Legionella testing, reviewing policies and risk assessments and attending meetings with the buildings manager.
