Wedlake Bell's highly regarded Family Team are recruiting an Associate to expand the team and continue to deliver the high standards of service we offer to our clients.

This role works closely with industry-leading partners (Legal 500 and Chambers HNW Family ranked) delivering complex Family law advice, on matters both contentious and advisory, to a range of high-profile clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Family Associate to join a thriving Family Practice, where you will work with high-profile clients on industry-leading matters.

**Key role duties**:

- Delivering clear and high-level legal advice on a range of private Family law matters, including; divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes, prenuptial agreements, and private children law
- Acting as the day-to-day contact for advising clients on ongoing or new matters
- Developing the practice by promoting the firm and its work, both to existing and potential clients

**Examples of recent work**:

- _ Acting for a billionaire philanthropist in relation to a pre-nuptial agreement_
- _Acting in a complex multi-jurisdictional divorce/finance matter involving the UK, Portugal, France and South Korea_
- _A multi-day final hearing in HNW financial remedy proceedings before a High Court Judge_
- _International child arrangements and financial proceedings on behalf of a HNW client in prison involving social services_
- A background in a recognised family law practice, ideally with experience of working for HNW and UHNW individuals
- At least three years post-qualification experience advising on family issues - both contentious and non-contentious
- A high standard of written communication
- Strong client relationship and business-development skills
- Strong academic history and ability to "think outside the box" and analyse
- A high level of professionalism and integrity
