JOB TITLE Transport Supervisor

SHIFTS Mon-Fri 39 hours/week

SALARY £25000-£27000 DOE

BASE Hesketh Bank, Preston

With a base in 5 European countries and a growing presence in mainland Europe we are looking for a Transport Supervisor to play a major role in our Dedicated Fleet team.

We’re open 24/7/365 and can provide customers with a suitable vehicle and highly trained driver focused solely on their delivery. From Sprinter vans to 40 tonne artics, GBA has one of the most modern and technologically advanced fleets in the market. We offer the security of a large, established freight partner operating our own fleet of vehicles with highly trained drivers, combined with a flexible, passionate and innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all customer jobs are accurately entered in to the GBA system.
- Track and monitor all shipments to ensure KPIs are met
- Ensure all relevant documnets are uploaded to the systems
- Assist the Transport Manager in ensuring all vehicles and drivers are compliant

You
- Be proactive - anticipating when and where problems may occur
- Have excellent data analysing skills
- Have an understanding of the Working Time Directive in relation to drivers
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Be IT literate and able to work across multiple systems
- Have 2 years transport experience
