**_Working within a busy biological storage facility you will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for the safe handling and dispatch, governed by UK legislation, of biological material to further biomedical research._**

**About the job**:

- _Picking, packing & dispatch of biological samples from +10?C to -196?C storage_
- _Ensuring consumables are in stock and available_
- _Conducting daily & monthly safety checks, after full training, on relevant equipment_
- _Assisting with inventory movements & stock checks_
- _Contributing to a 24/7 on-call rota_

**It is essential for the Cryostore Technician to demonstrate the following skills and experience**:

- _4 GCSEs or equivalent including Mathematics and English and 2 A-levels or equivalent_
- _Experience of working with cryogens or in a warehouse setting_
- _Evidenced team working experience_
- _This is a moderately physical role with the requirement for manual handling and to work in awkward positions (e.g., climbing up small ladders, bending over storage tanks, lifting dewars)_
