Wraparound Coordinator

**Job Description
Grade 6 - £36,567 - £39,951pa**

The role will involve working in a collaborative manner with teams across the local authority, schools, families, childcare providers (including private providers, childminders, community and voluntary organisations and early years settings) to assess supply and demand and expand wraparound childcare provision that is accessible to children and families, including those with SEND.

For the wraparound Coordinator we are seeking for someone with the following skills and experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience in working with professionals in the early years sector
- Strong understanding of Early Years statutory guidance, child development and early learning
- Knowledge of what quality looks like within the early years sector
- Clear understanding of the benefits of partnership working; understanding how to bring people together for consultation, design and development of system wide change
- Active listening and engagement skills
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills of complex issues are essential, as are technical skills, and the ability to prioritise
- Full understanding of the importance of ensuring that equality, diversity and inclusion is at the heart of all development and that closing the gap in educational attainment remains a key priority.
