If so, Speedy’s Risk and Assurance team are looking to invest in someone to develop them from Trainee to a qualified and experienced Internal Auditor.

We will provide you with the skills and experience to undertake risk-based internal audits and also support you through professional qualifications.

We are looking for a trainee who can support the team in their risk and assurance activities. We provide independent assurance to the PLC board that risk is actively managed in the business.

We are one of a few departments that interact with all areas of the business, from Marketing to Engineering. This is a well-respected department reporting directly to the Audit & Risk Committee with regular contact with senior management and the opportunity to interact with the Executive Directors.

This role will enable you to develop strong relationships across the Speedy network with both individuals and departments to gain a good understanding of the whole business and how risk management and control frameworks are developed and operated.

You will also be required to:

- Show flexibility to travel where required
- Demonstrate commitment to obtain ACCA qualifications
- Have excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Have obtained 2:1 degree or above
- Previous work experience such as a year in industry, a part time job or a volunteer role
- UK Driving License as travel will be required with this role.
