**About the Opportunity**:

- The role of Electrical Supervisor is to lead the on-site discipline trade teams, support with electrical installations, monitor progress and support the construction and project team with the creation of site safety and delivery documentation. Works will be ranging from refurbishment to new build as well as infrastructure upgrade and demolition, to ensure adherence is being carried out to the correct specifications, quality, safety and environmental requirements;
- Site based electrical discipline supervision reporting to the site construction manager;
- Visiting construction sites/buildings across the programme to check, monitor and document quality of build progress to ensure that contractors are adhering to the design and specification as construction progresses;
- Front line supervision and technical knowledge to site-based trade teams;
- Review and brief teams on work scopes and drawings;
- Assist in the resolution of technical issues and design queries as they arise;
- Attending team and site meetings as required by the construction manager;
- Offering comments, solutions, and alternatives to the design teams;
- Coordinating and arranging service and utility isolations;
- Close liaison with members of the site safety (SHE), facilities and maintenance teams;
- Keeping a watching brief over contractors whilst working with permits;
- Be appointed as ‘Appointed Person’ Electrical (APE);
- Supporting with the testing and commissioning of the installed equipment alongside the site commissioning team;
- Working with other members of integrated project teams, projects, and subcontractors to promote a positive health and safety culture, improve performance, meet targets, and contribute to learning from experience (LFE);
- Ensure delivery of safety, quality, health and environment performance in accordance with the requirements of the site policies and management systems.

- Ability to work across organizations;
- Ability to multi-task and work under own initiative;
- Able to work under short term pressure to resolve emerging issues in a timely and responsive manner;
- Good technical knowledge of discipline area;
- Good understanding of electrical commissioning activities;
- Able to carry out electrical ‘Test and Inspection’ activities;
- Must be able to gain a minimum of level Security Clearance (SC);
