Pallet Sorter

**We are actively recruiting for a Pallet Sorter/ Repairer**

**Reporting to the site supervisor and taking instruction of duties throughout the day.**

**Key activities include**:
**sorting pallets by type**

**inspecting the quality of pallets**

**repairing damaged pallets using reciprocating hand saw and pneumatic nail gun.**

**Essential requirements**:
**General labouring experience**

**Ability to work in a labour intensive role**

**High level of housekeeping standards, ensuring work spaces are kept clean, tidy and safe**

**Punctual and good attendance record**

**Preferable attributes**:
**Manual Handling training**

**Previous experience handling wooden pallets**

**Hand-held tool experience**

**Immediate starts available, experience in this field is desirable however full training will be given.**

**Starting pay - £11.75 per hour plus enhanced overtime rate upon hitting daily targets.**

**Overtime available to meet the needs of the business.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Performance bonus

**Experience**:

- Working within the pallet industry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
